Introduction to a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce
A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is an undergraduate degree that aims at teaching basic strategic management techniques to students. Students will learn how to plan, organize, lead and assess various business scenarios. They will also learn how to manage finance, maintain records and utilize them for achieving the objectives of the company. They will also be taught how to manage different facets of business such as operations, accounting, corporate tax, company law, economics, auditing, business management, etc.
  • This is a four-year program that can be pursued on-campus as well as online.

  • The intake for this program takes place in October (Fall), January (Winter), April (Spring) and July (Summer).
     
    • 10+2 with 70% average or 2.00 out of a scale of 4.33 on Canadian high school (Grade 12)
    • Must be 21 years old on or before the first day of the session.

The course credits have an academic value of three credits. Each credit is equivalent to 45 hours, which includes class time, exams, online study and self-directed study.

  • The full-time tuition fees for international students is:
    • $20,880 (Year 1 to 3)
    • $6,960 (Year 4)
    The total fees is $69,600 (Winter, spring and summer 2019 intake).
  • The university believes in relieving the financial stress of the students so that they can concentrate on their academics. For this purpose, it offers financial funding in the form of fee waivers, grants, scholarships, educational loans etc. Apart from these, there are also discounts in the form of referral discount, early consideration discount, alumni discount and so on.

    Students with excellent academic records can avail scholarships up to $20,000 for UG programs. International UG students can be awarded up to $12,000 for the economic development of their home country. Eligible students receive $6,500 under MBA Foundation Study Grant.
