Robertus Dorpmans from Amsterdam sat down with us to share his experience while taking his MA in Strategic Marketing online with London School of Business & Finance.

My name is Rob Dorpmans, I’m from Amsterdam, and I studied a master’s in strategic marketing. I wanted to do a master’s in strategic marketing, so online best fit my working schedule. I work four days per week as a teacher at a university.

It was very important for me to get, let’s say, state-of-the-art digital marketing. I like the fact it was taught by professors who came from a business environment, and they could fill me in, let’s say, update me on state-of-the-art digital marketing practices.

Coming from a background of teaching myself, I would advise to look for a university that has at least a good number of students, teachers that have a background in the industry they are teaching about, and good online facilities, naturally.

What I liked was that there were several times per year that you could start your programme, so it was very flexible, and you can tailor your course to your own work environment.
